Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Well designed modern conversion, giving spacious, clean accommodation. Easy 10 min walk to historic centre. Private parking for €7 behind, public €3 close. Carlotta efficient and helpful with booking and supplied restaurant information and father, Prof Maurizio, who is the hands on support, is very friendly and helpful. My wife needed to keep medicine cold and freeze a block for our departure: Maurizio not only produced a colder fridge for the room, but took us to the local pizzeria (very good) to arrange for us to use their freezer! Exceptional service. He speaks little English but is a whizz with Google translate to quickly communicate in both English and Swedish! No breakfast here but excellent cafe/ patisserie a 5 min walk next to pizzeria. Town is pleasant - historic sights, sociable piazzi, plenty of bars and restaurants and good specialty shopping. Seemingly only Italian tourists, despite being Easter weekend.
Negative: Nothing really, unless you want a view - we were at the back, which was quiet, but into a yard: front onto road might have had traffic noise.
Summary: High standard of accommodation, conveniently situated; friendly host.
