Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: They were very good with communication, particularly prior to arrival. Overall the house was good - 3 bedrooms - capacity to open everything up for good airflow and everything locked well for security. House was good. Washing machine and clothes line were good.

Negative: The little oversights were annoying: no coffee, only 6 teabags for 3 people over 4 days, no kettle, not enough bin liners. When I raised concern, I was given a few coffee pods and instant cappuccino sachets - we ran out after day 2 - and a handful of bin liners - most of which were too small to actually line the bins with. I was told there is boiling water at the water fountain. This was correct, but it was a very, very slow trickle of hot water. Over the next 4 days we were irritated by: -No more coffee -Not enough tea -Slow trickle of hot water from fountain instead of a kettle. -Pan with loose handle -Colander made out of non- insulated material so it burns your hands if you pass boiling water through it -No washing basket to hang out clothes -Not enough pegs to peg out your clothes If you do a full load. -Microwave had a sign that read "do not place anything in the microwave" - so no microwave -Sign informing of wifi password was incorrect - I looked on the modem and messaged them to let them know the correct password, so hopefully they update the sign for the next guests. If they improved at least some of these oversights - even just provided enough tea and coffee after I asked for it - it would have been a better stay and I wouldn’t have left this review.
