Brickfront Cottage is perfect for your all-season Vacation rental! We welcome you to a full farmhouse style cottage and 2,510 sqft driveway. Ski & hiking trails and snowmobile trails are close, local park is a cross the street. Play in the leaves and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and a warm bath, grab a cozy throw blanket and relax on Brickfront's cozy screened-in porch and warm up! Brickfront is close to nearby wedding venues enjoy this cute little Cozy sitting area with a complimentary coffee bar.
The space
Brickfront Cottage is your new favorite upstate New York getaway! Enjoy this cozy beautiful farmhouse cottage with a small group of friends/ family or maybe a getaway from everything with your spouse! Brickfront is on a quiet road in the center of the village of Port Leyden. We have a spacious 2,510 sqft Driveway and a 3-step back deck going into our main entrance with your key code entry, you will find coat/shoe racks in the entryway ( Ice melt and snow brushes for guest access) Coffee bar station with a country farmhouse feel! Enjoy this comfortable sitting area leading into the farmhouse kitchen with all that you need, cooking supplies. Everything is labeled for our guests to help ensure a relaxing stress-free stay. The kitchen will lead you out to the screened-in porch where you will find another cute relaxing sitting area with wicker furniture and bistro lighting with a propane fireplace. Walking back through the first cottage-style door taking a left you will find a children's play area with some games and reading books for all ages and the dining room table. You will see beautiful barn doors leading you into the Brickfront's cozy living space where you can enjoy Netflix and relax! Relaxing does not stop there... Leading you into this beautiful 1 bathroom split with a claw foot bathtub to soak all your stress away and a stand-up shower on the other side with body soap/Shampoo and Conditioner provided. You have guest access to the stackable washer and dryer. Any laundry soap you are welcome to use during your stay. Up the stairs, I warn guests to duck, as there is a lower cottage-style ceiling in certain areas of the cottage. Upstairs you will have access to three bedrooms (The Master Bedroom) is on the left with a 55" Roku TV Netflix provided with a closet and luggage rack with a clothing iron and ironing board. We keep 1 extra desk to top fan and extra bed linens in case of an accident. Brickfronts twin room has two twin beds 26 " flatscreen smart TV with Roku & Netflix. Brickfronts inlaw bedroom is a single twin bed with a luggage rack and wall-mount closet. High Velocity fans in all bedrooms. No guest access to storage/linen closet. The tiny house is also no guest access and the basement. The matching shed you may use what you need (gas grill/snowblower "at your own risk, Brickfront is not responsible for injury. There is a puppy run for your use leading you outside to a nice wrap-around yard.

Brickfront Cottage is very special to our family. This cute, little cozy cottage is our family home of 14 years where we have been raising our three children and Christ Jesus has blessed us with so many cherishable memories. Our Family prays for our wonderful guests/tenants to enjoy Brickfront Cottage and all that it has to offer, while bringing you cherishable memories as well.
Our family is just starting our short term rental & eager to rent out to travelers like yourself. Brickfront Cottage is a great spot on a quiet road in the center of a small village, in the village of Port Leyden, City of Lewis county. A mill was built in the present site of the village around 18oo, and the community was known as “ Kelsey’s Mills”. The name was changed to “Port Leyden” around 1838 when the Black River Canal was being developed. The canal was completed to port leyden in 1850 but was not usable until 1851. Brickfront Cottage was built in 1880. We have chosen to keep some of the same original pieces and modernize the rest. Our cottage style doors are original doors & the farmhouse sink/ metal cabinet and the dining room and living room floors from the very beginning Brickfront Cottage was built and a lot of love flowing through this cute little cottage for over a century.
