Summary: Absolutely loved our stay at this waterfront home.  We were looking for something sitting right on the water, and this house delivered.  Was fascinating to watch the tide come in and out each day.  When the tide was out, lots of beach and rock formations to explore.  When the tide is in, it comes right up to the stone wall between the sea and the property.  The features inside the house were outstanding.  The kitchen was well stocked with food preparation tools, cookware, dishes, glasses, and cutlery.  We ate almost all our meals in, with items bought at the local grocery store.  The open living room and dining room were great for relaxing and enjoying the sea views.  Each of the four bedrooms were well appointed, and as described in the listing.  Also took advantage of the washer and dryer as we stayed for 6 nights.  Based on a posted review, we were a bit concerned about the WiFi connection, but Nicolas assured us when we booked that was an isolated incident due a network provider outage.  Happy to report that was true, we found the WiFi to work well and meet all our needs for emailing and streaming Netflix shows.  It was great that it also provided off-street parking right in front of the house.   We loved exploring the community of Gavres including the old fort and bunker ruins, the cemetery, and the small port.  The local grocery store had the basics, and the Super Intermarch in Plouhinec was only twelve minutes away.  Also a couple of restaurants in town, but never tried them as we were happy to cook for ourselves at the house.  Took the bus boat over to Port-Louis one day to explore that community as well.  Being out on a peninsula, it did add a bit of time getting to other sites we wanted to tour in the area (Carnac, Quimper, Concarneau), but the trade off of the wonderful setting was well worth it.  Would happily stay here again.
