Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel looks very new, modern, clean, and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, everything works as it should, and although the staff are not particularly cheerful, they are polite and do their job with a smile. The hotel actually feels a bit like an oasis compared to the neighborhood around it. The price is also very reasonable, so overall I think there is a good balance between what you pay and what you get.

Negative: The biggest downside by far was the noise. The hotel is located close to the Pan-American Highway and also very close to a busy shopping mall, so there is a lot of noise from early morning until late at night, even with the windows closed. The neighborhood is also quite dusty and dirty, which doesn't make the surroundings very pleasant. The rooms don't have air conditioning, and there is no elevator, so the third floor can be a bit exhausting if you have a lot of luggage. For breakfast, I would personally prefer a buffet rather than having just one plate served. That said, the breakfast was not bad, and the cook was very kind and friendly.
