Positive: We had an absolutely splendid time at this lovely house walking distance from everything in Colmar! Location is perfect, close enough to be convenient, but in a quiet neighborhood. Hosts Eric and Carole made this stay extra lovely with their care, attention to detail, and personal touch. Breakfast delivered to the room every day was delicious and thoughtful, with special touches that made us feel like welcome guests rather than just customers. The baguette was still warm from the bakery when we broke into it each morning. The room was well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a table for breakfast, plus coffee machine in the room and a kitchen just down the hall. Best of all, every interaction -- in person or by email -- was kind and friendly. Warm memories of our stay in Colmar will be with us a long time, thanks to Villa Bartholdi!
