Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy space in central Athens. We walked pretty much everywhere, and found that it took around 20-30 minutes to reach the entrance gate of the Acropolis, but there were also buses near the apartment and lots of lovely places in the area, such as the cafe right next door, and the restaurant Baba Ganoush across the square, which we highly recommend! The little apartment was bright, airy and clean, with a lovely outside area to sit and have food/drink in. There is very basic cooking equipment to make simple meals, as well as a fridge/freezer, kettle etc. Unfortunately the Nespresso pods provided did not match the machine, so there is no way of making coffee if you don't like instant! We also found that the shower did not have a stand to place the head on, meaning you have to hold the shower head the whole time, or get someone to help you if you need to wash your hair! We also searched high and low for any bins, and could not find them (I messaged Andreas and he was also unsure where they were). This meant we just filled two bags with our rubbish and food waste, which isn't ideal, so hopefully this will be remedied for future guests. There were also a couple of cockroaches in the flat - possibly attracted by the lack of bins! - but overall we did feel the space was very clean and well looked after. It's also a bargain - would definitely stay again.
