THERE IS A MAXIMUM 6 PERSON LIMIT, AND A MAXIMUM 4 ADULT LIMIT ON THIS PROPERTY AT ANY TIME.

This listing offered for short term rental is a luxury guest house (called a casita) loaded with amenities. This private and modern 1 level 1,200 sq ft casita sits more than 100’ from the main house. The owners may or may not be in the main house. This listing includes all grounds, features and amenities to the east of the structure of the main house. The owners have the main house and all grounds extending west to the end of the Kingdom.

THE POOL, SPA, ROOFTOP, PARKING AREA, ALL FEATURES AND AMENITIES ARE SOLELY FOR THE PRIVATE USE BY GUESTS. You will not "share" anything during your stay with anybody, specifically not with the owners. And there won't be any other guests.

The property is conveniently located just minutes away from all that Scottsdale has to offer. Effortlessly reach dining, golf, shopping, special events, hiking and biking.

Enter through your own automatic gate and arrive at your oasis that is situated between a gorgeous heated pool/spa and one of the most amazing botanical gardens that you can find in the area. Come in spring and it will be in bloom. Walk the paths (most are wheelchair accessible) and bring your camera! Head up the spiral staircase and hang out on the party deck that has a gas fire-pit and spectacular views of the McDowell mountains to the north and Camelback to the southwest.

Bedroom #1 has a King bed where you can wake to the east facing sunrise. Bedroom #2 has a west-facing Cal King with plenty of drawer space. The third, largest room comes equipped with a full kitchen/living room, with granite counters, a gas range/oven, dishwasher, large microwave, 5-gallon water dispenser and a really sturdy and comfortable queen sized Murphy bed. Streaming TV in the Main Room and Bedroom #2. There is wifi throughout.

The bathroom has a granite topped double vanity, slate tiled shower and a water closet for privacy. Across the hall is a large closet and washer/dryer.

The pool is walk-in at the shallow end, perfect for those who need easy access. The spa is very large so any toe-touching will have to be intentional! Set the mood with night lighting and outdoor music.

Still have some restless energy? Try the outdoor ping pong table, cornhole, basketball, or SOFT GOLF BALL ONLY driving range. Think you can clear the main house and establish a new record for longest ball ever? Bet you still can’t reach the street!

UPDATE: So... A self described "H-Billy from Kentucky" just made a mockery of our "bet you still can't". So now we bet you still can't bonk the nose of the horse in the neighbor across the street's back yard paddock. We double-dare you to try.

A NOTE ABOUT POOL AND SPA FEES: If you wish to have the spa heated for your stay, the cost is $100/night to cover the propane. Please select heating fee. If you are a polar bear, and don't want to incur this cost, that's fine too. Just "don't" select heating fee. It costs us more than that on average to run the heater. And if you simply want the spa during your visit, choose heating fee for your booking and we will negotiate a spa fee and refund the difference during your stay.

A NOTE ABOUT PETS. We may allow pets. More likely if it isn't a shedder, marker, drooler or barker. The pet fee, if we do, is $75/night, and Tessa will require a higher pet-damage related deposit.

A NOTE ABOUT ARCADE GAME FEES: Free standing arcade version of four different PacMan games (including the original) and Galaga. Very cool. Please note that you accept full responsibility for any negative consequences of you engaging with this device: back injuries, carpal tunnel, addiction potential, kids (childish adults) fighting over a turn, whatever. The evil contraption has no signs of physical abuse, and we expect to get it back without a permanent imprint of your knuckles on the screen. Choose "Club" in optional fees. $30/night.

A NOTE ABOUT HUMAN CONTACT, WALKTHROUGH AND PRIVACY. This property was prepared with great attention to detail by real live humans. The purpose of the MANDATORY walkthrough is for you to agree, before taking possession of the property, that it is PRISTINE and FUNCTIONAL. Without exception, at least one adult renter must do a thorough walkthrough with either the owners or Tessa. During the walkthrough, any damage, stains, and non-functionality will be noted, and all features of the property will be demonstrated; eg, how to light a firepit, or grab a fire extinguisher if your bag of marsh-mellows suddenly ignites.

After that, any physical sight or contact is at your discretion. You won't have visibility into the main house and if the owners happen to be home, they won't have visibility in your space. If you want contact with the owners, you can have it. And if you want complete privacy, as the reviews state, you can have that too. Have it your way. Heck, we should have been marketers.

A NOTE ABOUT PERSONAL VICES:

There is no smoking or vaping permitted inside the casita. Outside, it's still a free country. OK, it's not anymore. But you can smoke/vape outside to your heart's content.

A NOTE ABOUT WHETHER WE HAVE TO ACCEPT YOUR BOOKING: Nope. We don't. This is a truly unique property, Scottsdale has something like a 4% vacancy rate, and we are fully booked with a waiting list a year long. Just like you are screening this property, before Tessa accepts ANY bookings, she will send you screening questions (think "Walking Dead", but not exactly). Every guest who has left us a review got the same questions before Tessa booked them.
