Summary: The room itself was very nice and clean. The location is quite ideal for a stay centered in downtown Duluth and nearby canal park. The elevator didn’t really work, so it was a one floor walk up. The second night there was one couple that had a difficult time getting into their room and they were very audible through our door. Later, an employee tried to access our room after we had gone to sleep and woke me up with the attempt. (I believe this was an honest mistake, but still disconcerting.) Even later in the evening still-and waking us up again-a couple had a very loud argument in their room that we were able to hear rather clearly. Most of this is outside of the hotel’s control, but it is still hard to give a higher rating given the experience.
