Positive: The instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Love the August keypad access door lock. We were a little nervous about security of the half door but we had no issues and it was nice to open up the top half for a breeze and more natural light while we were inside during the day. Already a surprising amount of natural light through all the windows. Very well equipped kitchen - we did not use it but you could cook all kinds of things there! Good hot water supply and very nice rain head for taking showers. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash all smelled and lathered wonderfully. Lovely patio area which is nice to sit in just outside the front door. We watched the sun set at night from there. Also there are patio lights that come on automatically at sundown. Very peaceful and quiet all the time. Only a couple of blocks from the beach. Several good restaurants nearby and a good convenience store also. So thankful to have a reserved parking spot at the back of the building. Accommodates a small car nicely; big SUVs/trucks/vans might not fit too well.

Negative: Bed was a nice size for the small space but could use a new firmer mattress. Also one side of the bed is against the wall so the person sleeping on that side needs to get in and out at the foot of the bed. This may not be a suitable property for people with mobility/balance issues since the entry is on a slanted street with bricked sidewalk, narrow step-down into the front garden thru the gate, high step-over threshold into the bathroom, high step-up into the closet, very low bed level. We used all these things just fine but we sometimes travel with family members who would not be able to do so. Also probably not suitable for tall people. My husband is only 5'9" and had to watch his head near the ceiling in some spots. The bathroom was nice but it does get very humid so opening the small bathroom window is a must but it is body level with view into the shower and you can see in and out when the window is open.

Summary: Small, cozy property in a good location and great amenities for our needs.
