Summary: Wonderful historic hotel in the small town of Springer. Our family booked it as a late-night holdover on our way to somewhere else in the area. The beds were clean, very soft and comfortable. The host was kind despite our late-night arrival and guided us through the amenities. This is a historic property though, so some of the facilities are appropriately dated. While we were fine with this, some of them seemed to reflect overdue maintenance (porcelain/finsh chipping/stripping in the sink) vs just simple age.
