Covering an area of 1,571 hectares, the commune boasts 11 km of shoreline on the Ria d'Etel, and is run by three pretty little rivers: the Moulin du Palais River, the Moulin de Saint Georges River, and the Pont du Roch River.
Nostang, a verdant commune thanks to its rivers, offers magnificent walks: wooded areas, moors, groves, and planted and carefully preserved embankments. All this still "real" nature generously invites us to explore (hiking maps available at the town hall). This preserved natural site fosters the flourishing of a very rich flora and allows the observation of numerous varieties of birds: mallards, egrets, herons, and other small wading birds. The ocean which reaches this arm of the Ria d'Etel allows the practice of fishing on foot and by line, but also sea kayaking and other water sports.
