Summary: We had a 2 night stay in Chicago at Sonders The Plymouth Loop. The layout of unit was very nice and the room was very clean. The issue was that the air conditioning did not work. I brought the AC issue to the property management immediately and it was not resolved until the next day when we were moved to a different unit. The first night was very uncomfortable without AC (about 85 degrees). I requested a refund for the entire first night and was denied the refund. I had paid for an early check in but I spent that time dealing with the AC and was also denied a credit for that. They did say they would give me a very small credit for my inconvenience but I never received it. Also, I had booked and paid through Hotels.com but Sonders also charged me. I did get a credit back from Sonders minus the early check in fee. Just a bad experience with the management and their policies but the room (2nd room with AC) was very nice.
