Positive: The room was big with a nice kitchen, big shower and steam room. The location was part of a larger holiday complex that has been recently developed. Lots of things to do nearby, especially if you use either ferry to cross to the main part of the town. There is a large supermarket a short walk away or plenty of different food options on the promenade. The view from the front of the property of the marina, Passat ship and passing ferries was unique.
Negative: There was a long wait for check-in with only one member of staff despite it being peak check-in time. The service was not very warm or friendly. The information in the room was provided by QR code, which we didn't notice had sent us to information about another hotel. This was particularly disappointing as we thought there was a pool based on this information - there is no pool! The aircon was broken in our room, which would have been more of an issue if it was hotter. We were offered a parking space but it wasn't made clear that this would be charged at the end of the stay or the amount. Overall it's a great property and location but is lacking some of the polishing from other more established chains.
