Zimmer Chyco is een knusse, 2-p slaapkamer in een eeuwenoud vakwerkhuis, idyllisch aan de Rur en midden in de historische altstadt van het schilderachtige Monschau! Ideaal als je de hele dag onderweg bent en genoeg hebt aan een bed en bad (privรฉ).
Via een prachtig bewerkte eiken deur stap je terug in de tijd en vergeet je gelijk de hectiek en stress van alledag. De slaapkamer ligt op de 2e (=bovenste) verdieping, welke te bereiken is via scheve en kronkelende trappen. Hier bevindt zich ook de royale badkamer met ligbad (nostalgie) en apart een toilet. Deze verdieping heb je lekker voor jezelf! Niet alleen is alles schots & scheef, het is ook duidelijk dat de mensen vroeger een stuk kleiner warenโฆ.. alles, inclusief de plafonds, is laag (dus ook de douche, 'langere' mensen kunnen het beste gewoon lekker gaan badderen)!
Back-to-basic, gezellig gekeuvel a.d. tafel ipv bliepjes. Geen schermen, maar gemoedelijk samen een kaartje leggen, ouderwets monopoly spelen of een spannend boek lezen. Of gewoon lekker genieten van het prachtige uitzicht (oa op het wereldberoemde "Rotes Haus") of luisteren naar de Rur onder je, soms als een rustig, kabbelend beekje, dan weer als een wilde, woeste rivier. Na een stevige wandeling en/of een lekker wijntje heerlijk slapen om 's morgens gewekt te worden door de geur van vers gebakken broodjes (bakker om de hoek).
