Wake up to fresh mountain air and breathtaking mountain views at Fernie Alpine Resort. Unit 104 at Griz Inn (mountain facing) is a true ski-in/ski-out or mountain biker's paradise in summer. This two-bedroom ground-floor suite hosts up to 6 adults (or 7 if two of the group are children using the oversized pull-out sofa bed). The brand renovation and amenities including tennis, pool, and large outdoor hot tub make it a great all-year getaway (excellent, dedicated wifi make it possible!).
The kitchen is beautifully renovated with quartz countertops and is open to the dining area. There are both Nespresso and Keurig coffee makers with complimentary pods. The quaint bathroom is also freshly renovated with lovely detail. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a new AC unit, small desk, and an extra deep closet with a platform for luggage. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and twin bunks with 48” Smart LED TV. Both bedrooms have beautiful views of the mountain. The living room has a jumbo-sized comfy sectional that pulls out to a queen-size bed (not the old creaky metal kind) and 70” Smart LED TV (for Netflix, Crave, Prime, etc.), and a second AC unit. The main room opens onto the deck with an outdoor love seat on one side and deck chair on the other. There is dedicated high-speed WIFI (very reliable) and banquette seating at a table for 8 to host eating or games. In the winter there is a heated blower to warm up your gloves and boots at lunch or coffee break. You will have your own ski locker with a combination lock in the lower level to securely stow your skis and snowboards. You can ski immediately from the ski lock up (no walking). There is a tennis court beside the building for summer and racquets in the front closet. The lower level has a bike storage room with a lock. There is a lift operating most of the summer for mountain biking but there are also cross country and hiking trails. The pool and large outdoor hot tub are steps down from the condo on the lower level. Our condo is non-smoking/vaping (the rule is both inside and on deck, it's a strict building policy with $200 fee if broken). Sorry no pets allowed in the condo.
