Positive: Love, love, loved it!! This was the much anticipated part of our holiday and we spent a lot of time researching Ryokan stays in the Hakone area. We settled on Ryuguden because we loved the idea of staying down on the lake and knowing we could easily transport our way around the region if needed. The staff were incredibly helpful, kind and overall just lovely. The traditional Ryokan and onsen experiences were beyond our expectation. Absolute 10/10. The early morning views of the lake and Mt Fuji were breathtaking.
