It is about a 2 miles/15 minutes to the French Quarter, and 12 miles/25 minutes from the Louis Armstrong Airport. We keep everything comfy, cozy, and clean. After an all day exploration of New Orleans you will come home where you truly can relax and regenerate for the next day.
Our home was originally built in 1919 with many historic details kept in tact since it's renovation. It is a type of two-address duplex with a layout called a "Shotgun" style home in New Orleans, also called a railroad or walk-through apartment in other regions. It is newly renovated and features 12 ft ceilings, crown molding, original hardwood floors, original brick fireplaces and mantels, original pocket doors, large windows, and plantation shutters. From the front porch you can see the tower of St. Mary's Assumption Church, and hear the bells chime on the hour in the distance.
Once inside, enjoy a parlor with streaming entertainment on demand, full kitchen, office space, 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, 2 full bathrooms, shared backyard, WiFi, central A/C and heat. You can rest easy at night knowing that the property has 5 outdoor surveillance cameras, sensors on all doors and windows, indoor motion detector, and 24-hour monitoring service, as well as monthly pest control service.
The home also includes a whole house, natural gas, generator in case of an electrical outage.
