Positive: Staying at Riad Tofaha and meeting Khalil is an experience that goes far beyond anything you’d normally expect. The Riad itself is a true oasis in the heart of the Medina, beautiful, serene, and meticulously maintained. Every corner is thoughtfully arranged, with traditional decor, immaculate rooms, and a peaceful ambiance that immediately makes you feel at home. The beds are very comfortable, the food is delicious and carefully prepared, and the entire Riad is spotless and welcoming. It’s a place where you can truly relax, recharge, and soak in the atmosphere of the city while enjoying a calm retreat from the busy streets outside. But what truly sets this place apart is meeting Khalil (the owner). He feels like an old friend you’ve known for years. You’re never on your own in a city or culture that might feel unfamiliar, because Khalil is always available whenever you need him. Whether it’s practical help, advice, or sharing insights about the culture and the city, he’s quietly there in the background, ready to support you whenever you want, so you don´t feel lost or alone. His guidance, care, and knowledge make navigating a new place easier and far more enjoyable. To be honest, I have never met anyone who goes so far to make you feel supported, helping with medication if you’re unwell, checking in to make sure you’re comfortable, showing you around, and offering information about the culture and country so you truly understand what you’re experiencing. Staying at Riad Tofaha is not just a place to sleep, it’s a full experience: peaceful, welcoming, and enriched by Khalil’s warmth and generosity. This level of care, attention, and hospitality goes far beyond a 10 out of 10.
