142 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 12 km to the north from the center of Sodankylä, in Sattanen along the village road, view to the stream Sattasjoki, distance from the accommodation 270 m. Due to the regulations, the water level varies and access to the beach is difficult from this point. Public swimming place about a kilometer away.

Next to the cabin is a reindeer herder, where are usually reindeer at least in winter, distance about 50 m. You can watch the reindeer, but must not disturb them. Illuminated ski trail in Sattanen, distance about 500 m. Kommattivaara small ski center 17 km. In Kommatti, ski slopes, lift and ski trails. From the center of Sodankylä there is also a ski trail to Kommatti, about 13 km to the starting point.
