Our appartement is just outside of Lyon, in Villeurbanne, but still very centrally located. It's about 10 minutes walking from the Part Dieu train station. And the C3 busline as well as a Velo'v bike station are right out in front and will take you to Lyon city centre in 15 minutes.
We're on the 1st floor of an old Lyonnais building with beautiful big doors, original woodwork and high ceilings. There's a 2-person bedroom available, with two large, comfortable single beds (90 x 200), a large wall closet and a chair. We have a baby bed available if you need to borrow one.
The newly renovated kitchen invites you to cook up any delicious treasures you found while exploring the city. And there's a small bathtub to relax after a day of biking or strolling around.
Both former CouchSurfers, we've had the enormous pleasure of hosting travelers from all over the world and showing them around our beloved Amsterdam and Belgrade at the time. Lyon is now our home. But as a family with kids living in a small urban apartment, it's a little harder to be a CouchSurfing host. We hope to recreate some of that local travel experience this way.
We speak English, French, Dutch and Serbian in our home, and there are books in mutliple languages. You'll probably meet me most often, as the flat is my office and secondary living space, but my daughter and partner might also be around.
You're free to use the games, toys, drawing materials, guitar, yoga mat while staying with us. I also love cooking and there's often something freshly baked in the fridge :)
