Summary: We were greeted by string lights on the screen porch and a warm interior; improvements were made with paint and kitchen backsplash/light based on previous website photos. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this unique and quaint cabin.There were a few things that could be improved upon and I wish we had known prior to staying, perhaps this will improve future guest experience:The wifi signal is weak ( we knew this in advance) so my daughter and I used the hotspots on our phones for our laptops. We couldn't get the tv to load that first night, but it did load the next day. We were never able to sign in to our subscriptions (Netflix, Prime, etc) but it wasnt that big of a deal for us. Perhaps an air antenna would be useful to at least get local channels without wifi. The tv is mounted above the gas fireplace (unable to use during our visit) which is pretty high up and may be uncomfortable for some.There is a desk and large monitor for use, but you must bring your own HDMI cable to use it.There is only one jigsaw puzzle and the fooseball table for entertainment, no books or other games that we could find.We never could find a switch to run the ceiling fans in living room.The water press. isnt strong and temps fluctuated. If you were the first to shower, you had hot water. Later bathers had scalding to freezing temps that eventually was just cold. My husband and I are ex-military so we are used to fast showers. These are all things we can deal with.We would stay again!!T
