The wonderful terrace offers panoramic views of Monaco and the entrance to the harbor as well as the medieval castle.
The house is centrally located in the village by a picturesque street near the charming square. At the square there are several good restaurants, cafés and the hotel Les Deux Frères. The small grocery store Le Masaguen is located 100 m from the house and has the most important for breakfast - fresh baguette and croissants and dinner, as well as a good selection of wines. Le Masaguen offers wine tasting.
The house has 4 floors, perfect for privacy, about 100 sqm. Ground floor: hall, bathroom, wc. 1st floor: kitchen. 2nd floor: bedroom. 3rd floor: bedroom, bathroom with toilet. 4th floor: living room with sofa bed and extra mattress pad and panoramic terrace.
The kitchen is complete with kitchen utensils. For your convenience, there are hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, linen and towels.
The house has two bedrooms with double beds (2nd floor bedroom with 2 movable 90 cm wide beds that can be moved to a double bed, and an extra floor mattress, 3rd floor double bedroom 140 cm width). An extra mattress pad can be used in the living room if required. There are good wardrobe spaces in the bedrooms.
All of the house's textiles are made of genuine natural materials such as cotton and linen.
It is of course made when you arrive.
We offer everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible: bedding, towels,
shampoo and shower cream, basic for breakfast (coffee machine with free Nespresso capsules and tea) and complete kitchen for own cooking.
Bath towels, sleeping mats and umbrellas are at your disposal for the visit to the beach.
Wi-Fi is free, with no restrictions.
This is the perfect getaway for couples and families with children from 4-5 years and up (for smaller children it can be awkward and risky with the stairs). The house is also the perfect place to stay during your business trips, as each partner will have their own private space and their own bathroom.
The village is car-free. The car park as well as the bus stop is nearby from the house, about 200 meters. The buses take you to Monaco and Menton. The train station is a 15-minute walk away.
Socializing with guests
Our hostess receives you and is available for questions and practical problems. She speaks French and English. We - Lars and Anita - speak Swedish, Danish and English.
Other to note
Bring comfortable shoes as there are a lot of stairs in the village and surroundings.
Bring your camera. There are many views and places that make you lose your breath.
Avoid too large bags and too much luggage due to limited space and stairs in the house.

Summary: This is not just a house, it's also a nifty experience for certain travelers. It's in a storied village with an ancient tree, good restaurants and very friendly people. I would say that the listing doesn't fully describe some of the challenges of the house. It is a great space, but bookers should be aware that there is a bit more to consider.The house is located in what I would describe more as 'remote' as it is up winding and (at night) dark roads. I would not advise arriving after dark. There are great restaurants in the area and the parking lot filled up on Friday and Saturday night. There is also charging available. The view is on the top floor and to get to it, visitors must walk through one of the bedrooms. It's a very nice view.There are A LOT of stairs and older or very young people may have challenges climbing up and down. Our family does quite a bit of walking and exploring while on holiday. My son plays basketball and I am fit and we found ourselves sore and tired from the constant climbing to get into the village from the car park, up to the house through the village and up to our rooms. Heed the caution to bring light baggage and keep in mind that this is a very old home. My 6'8 son bashed his head in and found the small stairs quite a challenge.None of this is discouarge travelers!!! This is just more details on the house. It wasn't our preference and had we had more description, we would have booked a different place.
