Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The onsen experience was superb. It was not too crowded. There was an outdoor public bath with a surreal vibe. Remember to bring some money there to enjoy the milk after the onsen. The staff was really nice. I lost my JR pass there, and they helped me ship the pass to my next hotel. Very appreciated their effort on finding it.

Negative: There is nothing much to do around the area. You should only stay there for the onsen. 1 night is probably good enough.
