My Deer Chalet - Lac McGregor - Private Jacuzzi | House in Val-des-Monts

Retreat into a nature oasis where you can peacefully enjoy a modern, brand new, four-season cottage duplex that is perfectly situated on the prestigious McGregor Lake. My Deer Chalet offers the tranquility away from city life, with easy access just a 30 minute drive from Canada’s capital city, Ottawa.
Treat yourself to fully relax in the brand new, outdoor jacuzzi. Enjoy the 51 in TV with integrated speaker system and modern fireplace in the living room.
My Deer Chalet is fully furnished with three bedrooms that each have sliding patio doors that captivate breath-taking view of trees and great outdoors. The open concept living/dining area is perfect for socializing, and includes a brand new, fully outfitted kitchen with quartz counter tops and five bar stools.
Laundry machines are on site.
In the winter, the driveway is plowed regularly. There is a shovel also available for guest use. The outdoor steps and jacuzzi steps need to be shoveled by the guest to gain entry to the cottage. If you do not have all wheel drive, it is recommended parking closer to the street.

PARKING LOT
Please note that this is a shared parking space. Kindly follow these instructions:
• Park your vehicle(s) on the My Deer Chalet side of the lot, which starts from the front of the hot tub area, leftwards toward My Deer Chalet.
- In winter, be aware snow or ice could fall from the roof. Park your car accordingly, we are not responsible for damages to your car or for snow/ice falling on you or your guest.
• Please do not park to the right of the hot tub, in the neighbor's parking lot.
• Please do not block the entrance to shared the driveway.
• Unless otherwise indicated, you are allowed to park in the street, as long as you respect street signs and do not block the driveway entrance.
• When the snow plow comes, kindly please temporarily move your vehicles to the street to let them plow the entrance and avoid damages to your vehicles. Allowing the snow to be removed will facilitate your departure so that you are able to get out and do not get stuck in the driveway.
• If it snows that day, you may need to shovel the front steps to enter the house. A shovel is right beside the door.
Please note the following instructions that will be useful during your stay:
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
1. NO GATHERINGS/PARTIES allowed. Only the guests listed in your reservation are permitted. Should any other person enter the property, please let us know in advance. Unannounced guest and visitor are not allowed. Automatic charges of 200$ per announced guests/visitor will be applied.
2. NO PETS. Animals are strictly forbidden. Your reservation will be immediately terminated, without refund, if you bring any type of pet. And you will be charged a nightly fee of $500 for having brought a pet. Pet can
3. Absolutely NO SMOKING/DRUGS in the house or the garage. Dispose all butts in the garbage. Should there be any smell of smoke in the house or garage, you will be charged to remove the scent.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
JACUZZI-SPA
Maintenance person usually come on monday/Wednesday/friday afternoon to maintain Hot tub. He may show up anytime during your stay for Maintenance pusposes.
- Use the SPA at your own risk.
- Do not enter the spa if you have massage oil or sunscreen on your body.
- No food, drink or drinking in the spa. (if drinks are spill in hottub, water need to be change and fees will incure)
- Take a shower before using the spa in order to remove anything that may be found on the skin (sweat, cosmetics, organic debris) that has the effect of promoting bacterial growth and neutralizing disinfectants. This Avoids foaming in the Spa and keeps the water clear.
- Maximum 5 people at a time in the SPA
- Always close the cover after use
- Please note that excessive or improper use of the spa could result in a charge of $ 500 plus tax for water drainage and deep cleaning.
• Do NOT flush products such as feminine hygiene products, wipes, food or oil, paper towels or Kleenexes, etc in toilets AND sinks. Sceptic tank could jam and cause flooding or trigger loud alarm from Bionest. If there the alarm sounds or there is flooding, you will be charged a minimum fee of $500.
• Do NOT place hot items on the quartz counter tops - it may crack/or break due to the heat. Instead, use the hot pads in the bottom drawer on the left, under the cutlery, or the wooden cutting boards beside the stove. If there are cracks in the quartz, you will be charged the replacement fee. If there is a stain on the quartz, you will be charged.
• Do NOT touch the black, reflective ceiling in the basement bathroom. It is a film that can be easily pierced by nails or keys. If there are damages, you will be charged 100% of the damages.
• In the entertainment space in the garage, careful to NOT hit the wall with the pool sticks and fuse ball handles. It is a tight fit! Move the white ball to allow sufficient space to play without hitting the wall.
• Pre-treat stains (i.e blood, dirt, wine) on linens provided by rinsing and rubbing in cold water, and spraying the affected areas with OxyClean product in the laundry area. Leave to soak in the black bucket (found in the laundry area) for 10 minutes, and rinse and rub in cold water. Repeat until stains are completely removed. You will be charged for replacement costs of stained or discolored linens, regardless if it comes out in the wash ($20 per facecloth, $60 for any other sized towel, $140 for king or queen sheets, $80 for double sheets, $60 for twin sheets)
• Please report all missing or broken items that would need to be replaced.
CHARGES
• Please note that if any of the above-mentioned instructions are not followed and damages incur costs or additional cleaning fees, funds may be retained from your deposit and/or you will be billed to pay for the damages.
