4 Bedroom House in Forest North Estates, Austin

Our home will comfortably sleep two couples or a small family.
We have an easy to care for, Swedish design inspired, home located about 25 minutes north/west of downtown. Reference Guero's Taco shop as your downtown destination. Apple HQ and the new (2024) Dell Children's Hospital are a five minute drive from our home. We are located in an older neighborhood. We are loved for our old-growth live oaks. Our house has a woodsy feel.
Please note that because we are in a third stage oak forest we have critters. Our neighborhood get visits from skunks, coyotes, rats, raccoons, squirrels, water bugs, spiders, bees and other animals native to Austin.
Our home has three generous size bedrooms and one smaller nursery.
#1. King- dresser, two sitting chairs, two bedside tables, walk-in closet
#2. Queen- stand up desk, sitting chair, bedside table, bench, storage cubbies,
owners locked closet.
#3. Two Twins- bedside tables, bean bag chair, coat rack, stool, closet with shelves.
#4. Crib (or toddler bed conversion)- rocking chair, side table, changing table, infant rocking seat.
We have a stroller, car seats, nursing pillow, Bumbo chair, high chair, booster seat, plates, cups, bibs, children's cutlery, teething rings, one bottle and some sippy cups, potty seat, step stools, tub faucet protector, baby gates. We also have some toys, board books and games. All of our things have been marked and we have an inventory. If you are confused about what you brought and what we provided please check for a stamp, as we have marked all of our things. OWNER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY OF THE ITEMS THAT A GUEST MAY CHOOSE TO USE WITH/FOR THEMSELVES OR THEIR CHILDREN.
Bedroom #1 has an en suite bath.
There is a shared bath in the hallway with a bath/shower combo. This is shared by bedroom #2,3 and 4.
We have a beautiful and very private deck with a fire pit. Our home is open plan with the living room, dining room, sitting room, small desk area and kitchen all open to each other. Our floors are concrete and very easy to care for. The kitchen has recently been redone and is highly functional, and all the appliances are new. It is not a fancy kitchen but rather a stylish Ikea kitchen. If you need a gourmet version of a kitchen, our place may not a good fit for you.
House is rented without the use of our garage. Owner retains all rights to the garage. Guests can use the garage for the purpose of doing laundry. Guests who stay in our house because of relocation can NOT use our garage as a storage unit. Guests can store bikes, golf clubs or other sports related items with owner permission.
Owners reserve the right to use the parking pad (not covered) to park their camper GUESTS MUST KEEP THIS PAD CLEAR AT ALL TIMES.
We have tried to be mindful of travelers with young children. We have added some safety features to our home. However, ultimately, the responsibility lies solely with our guests to ensure that their children are kept safe while in our home.
