Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Moab Springs Ranch itself is a beautiful location, complete with a historic home as the office and popular coffee shop/bakery. The grounds are well kept, a nice pool/hot tub, babbling brook, hammock, swings. The location was ideal since it was just north of town and out of the traffic.

Negative: # 7 was not so lucky...the unit itself is laid out well and spacious, but the maintenance man met us when we arrived so he could work on the dishwasher and vacuum. The dishwasher did not work during our stay, which was inconsequential. The refrigerator completely quit working, but we weren't aware until after being out for 13 hours that day, so contents were spoiled. Vacasa (oh, forgot to mention Vacasa is the primary rental company) was supposed to reach out to reimburse for the food, but that didn't occur and I'm over it at this point. I contacted the maintenance man, Tim, and he was very responsive and actually had a new refrigerator delivered the same day I called. The carpet needs cleaned, the bedding is outdated, mattresses were VERY (too) soft, a couple of light switches were 'dicey' and either wouldn't work at all or some lights remained on. The two car garage is a very tight fit (we parked outside). How #7 is repeatedly rated a "10" is beyond me? After actually signing/paying for the stay, I then learned it was a Vacasa rental... those reviews were very different.

Summary: I would not hesitate to stay at Moab Springs Ranch again, but definitely not #7.
