Positive: The hotel is just a 30-second walk from Qorikancha and is set around a beautiful inner courtyard. It’s very quiet and pleasantly isolated from the city noise. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a rustic style, adding to the charm of the place. The reception staff, especially Emanuel and his colleague, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. During our 2.5-week visit to Cusco and the surrounding area, we used the hotel as our base and returned after each excursion. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel easily and free of charge, which was incredibly convenient.

Negative: A few things could be improved: the rooms don’t have good light insulation, so it’s hard to sleep in once the sun rises — which wasn’t ideal on days when we didn’t have early tours. Water pressure in the shower was low, and the rooms could feel a bit cold at night. Breakfast, while adequate, was the same every day with no variation in the food selection.
