Summary: They don’t like customers who don’t book direct. As a Hotel.com booking the receptionist accused me if having 2 bookings and surprised us by advising only direct bookings get to use the Spa without paying extra. No pleasantries whatsoever. Massive 409+ room hotel- but we we put in room directly above construction site, where we were awoken 7pm by builders starting work. Breakfast is OK but had to wait for table and was chastised for trying to sit at a table outside the dining area. Just not the friendly atmosphere we were expecting and desk staff not bothered when 7am builders awaking was raised at checkout.
