* Dining: extension of the stone kitchen top to large square 8 seater dining area with two bench seats and four chairs and pull out expandable table for extra seating, filtered cold water dispenser
* Living area: large L shaped 6 seater with double ottoman and single ottoman and sliding doors onto deck, record player and records
* Deck: large, cushion covered day bed, casual chairs, 4 burner BBQ (extra chairs and camp chairs in garage if required)
* Laundry: LG washing machine and dryer, iron, indoor clothes airer, outdoor clothes line
* Garage: extra wide, spare fridge and freezer, remote garage door, camp chairs, foldable wooden chairs, large fold out outdoor table, beach shade, kids tunnel run
*Large garden: fully fenced, large monkey bars, space for a boat in front yard, space for second car on driveway between garage and remote controlled gate, separate pedestrian gate
What can you do within walking distance?
Relax on the sofas or the day bed and watch the trees and listen to the birds while your kids play games or sleep in or play on the monkey bars. If you're feeling energetic, open the back gate, stroll through the trees to the basketball hoop, try out the skate park (beginners and more experienced areas) or have a game on the tennis courts (freely available). Alternatively, walk through the park and turn right down the little lane where you’ll find the beach. Take your coffee to the shaded tables and seats and BBQ area, sit under the shaded area on the sand, take a dip in the enclosed swimming lagoon or turn left and take a long walk by the water, enjoying the beach and the view. Hungry? One block down from the house you will find the Flying Pieman bakery, fish and chips, Superette (hot food and groceries) and Jacobs Well Cellars. You could grab a sushi platter directly across the road or go three doors up and let the friendly neighbourhood café do it all for you. If you're feeling fancier, Jacobs Well Tavern is just past the shops (they do take out too). You could always take the boat or the jet ski out for the day from the boat ramp just 3 minutes down the road and find a secluded cove to go fishing or swimming or paddleboarding, or even stop for lunch on Stradbroke Island.
What else is nearby?
A 4 minute drive (or 9 minute cycle) will take you to Harrigan's Calypso Bay (live music on weekends) and the Yatala Drive-in (3 screens) is 10 minutes the other way. For a quick local shop or take out, Pimpama City is only 9 minutes (Aldi, Coles, butcher, fruit shop, pharmacy, restaurants) and all the major takeouts. 4 minutes further will get you to Coomera Westfield and Costco, Dreamworld and White Water World and 5 minutes more on the highway you will find Movie World, Wet ‘n Wild and Australian Outback Spectacular. Take the next off ramp and 10 minutes will get you to Harbour Town outlet shopping, quick right turn from there and you’re at Australia Fair! Missing the gym? 5 minutes past Pimpama City is Pimpama Sports Hub, the largest sports precinct on the northern Gold Coast with an aquatics centre, fitness centre, tennis and netball centres. Prefer some cultural activities? You could drive 40 minutes to Brisbane or, just 8 minutes from home, you can park your car at Ormeau Station and take the train up to South Bank, Brisbane's cultural precinct. There you will find museums, QPAC theatre, the Brisbane Eye, restaurants, markets and a variety of scheduled events.
