Summary: Okay so, I LOVED everything about my stay this past weekend for my birthday. Roy at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and kind! Seriously, he really made my first impression of this place a great one. He gave me and my sister a cute complimentary water bottle to use through out my stay. The hotel is clean, smells nice, and very attentive to your needs as a guest. The location is awesome being right next to the MTA herald square stop. They do have a restaurant in the lobby but I didn’t check it out. However, I did go on the terrace multiple times throughout my stay and it was off season so I had a private epic view of the Empire State Building. Adding photos of the Empire State from the terrace. ✨ The room was huge, clean, and had everything I needed (iron, tea, coffee, fridge, etc.) the safe didn’t work but i still felt that my valuables were fine. The security at the hotel was great and you can’t get off on any floors without your key card. I also loved that the amenity floor (2) had a little decent gym and then a bevvy room. Free sparkling water and it was delicious; they have different flavors you can get and also still as well. There was also free coffee, tea, and a lot of options for flavoring your bev. The ONLY thing that was lowkey annoying was the slow elevators (2) lol it’s not great but it’s also not the worst either since there are only like 12 floors. I will def be making the Kixby my new top choice hotel whenever I stay in manhattan.
