Positive: Location. Friendly staff Our second room was clean

Negative: First room awford we were told it was “ a bit of an upgrade“. It was a corner room on floor 4 that was clearly a smokers room and was dirty. We went straight down to reception and they gave us a second room on the top floor, but unfortunately, this was next to one of the rooms being renovated. 9 am one morning and 8 am the next the drilling started. Went on until 6 pm. We were out anyway most of the days at a wedding and couldn’t face moving all our stuff for a third time, but it still was pretty disruptive. …we mentioned this to Staff as we checked out and they very kindly remove one of the breakfasts that we had as compensation. However, I do think they should be a bit more aware the Staff of which rooms they’re giving out and I wasn’t aware we had to request non-smoking rooms.
