Positive: The Malcom and Barret Hotel offers really good breakfast, everything you need, coffee is from Jura machine, but it is okay. The bed was too soft for me (I prefer much more hard), but room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Also it was serviced daily. I liked the friendly staff at the reception and on the bar, The restaurant was really amazing - tasty and for good prices! It has calm, modern and warm atmosphere. I visited a few other places in the city center, which were not even close to this (it was too crowded, cold and with drafts (near Christmas time), and for the higher prices). The location is not the best, but if you are on the car or like walking, it is absolutely fine! I used to spend 40-50 mins to come to the city center or 1h to the Malvarrosa beach. Someone even swam on Christmas, while it was +13 C outside and the see was +15C. Just in 25 mins you can reach out to the Museum of Science with blue pools. Nice place to visit on the way to Malvarrosa.
Negative: I could not use my free entry drink voucher as it works until 7:30pm and I was coming after this time.
