Summary: This was a ski trip, so I chose this hotel because it has in&out skiing. You literally walk out the back, and ski onto the run. A little trickier coming back at the end of the day. You have to take the lift (19 I think) above it, and then ski down a very steep run to get to the back of the hotel. That was asking a lot from my legs after hours of skiing. There might be an easier route, but i didn‘t ask. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. Room was great, the breakfast was excellent, and they also have a snack time after skiing, and of course dinner. There is a warm, indoor pool, and a small gym with a treadmill & free weights. I did a short workout one evening. You get your own locker for storing skis, boots, etc that is coded to your room keycard. Overall, I loved it! The staff was friendly & helpful. I will definitely return to Sölden to ski again, and will stay at Hotel Edelweiß. I won‘t even bother looking for a different hotel - it‘s just too convenient!
