Summary: The check-in receptionist was rude. It was a surprise that breakfast was not included, this was not clear in the advertisements and no options for with/without breakfast available. This was, apparently, my fault for not booking directly with the hotel. I have been there many times over the past 20 years and never had this problem before. I do not plan on returning.
