Privacy Policy
Welcome to Nomada Hostels. The Privacy Policy pertains to any information in which Nomada Urban Beach Hostel and Nomada Beach Hostel collects in connection with the operation of its website, online services, and property Check-in. The policy also includes how collected information is used and how guests may access and/or correct collected information.
Guests may access our website without the release of personal or sensitive information. Nomada Hostels only collects personal information from guests upon the completion of online forms including but not limited to Bookings, Contact Us, Feedback, and any social media websites associated with Nomada Hostels. Nomada Hostels holds no responsibility for the security of any information released.
Reservations
Reservations for Nomada Hostels can be booked directly through our website and/or a third-party website such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hostelworld and Airbnb. These sites require the release of personal information including first and last name, full billing/home address, email address and contact number. These sites maintain their own privacy policies, unrelated to Nomada Hostels.
A valid Government issued photo ID (Driver?s License and/or Passport) and major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) are required for each reservation. Prepaid cards or cash is not accepted. No exceptions.
A Security Deposit is required for each reservation and may be used for, but not limited to, damages and/or outstanding room charges.
$75 for Private Rooms
$50 for Dormitories
Security deposits will be released on the day of check out provided none of the above apply. Based on your financial institution, security deposits may take up to 7-10 days to post.
Guarantee Policy
Guests of Nomada Hostels are guaranteed the room, services and amenities advertised and booked through our website. This does not include services or amenities advertised by third-party websites.
Children
Nomada Hostels are Adult only properties. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted. No exceptions apply.
Pets
Nomada Hostels does not allow pets.
Cancellations
Refundable Rates:
A reservation may be canceled up to 72 hours in advance, without penalty when booked under our Refundable Room Rate, only.
Cancellations beyond the 72 hour window will be nonrefundable.
Any reschedule dates less than the 72 hrs from the arrival will cost of $15 for the dorms and $25.00 for the private rooms
If a guest needs to edit any information made on a reservation, please contact Nomada Hostels via email your reservation number in the Subject line, or call us directly at 787.470.2328.
Non Refundable Rates:
Any reservation made under Nomada?s Non- Refundable Rate, will not be offered a refund of any kind. No exceptions apply.
Reservations made through third-party websites including but not limited to, Booking.com, Expedia, Hostelworld and Airbnb, maintain their own Cancellation fees and Policies. These cancellation policies have no affiliation with Nomada Hostels. No fees are shared.
Groups of 10+
A 50% deposit of the total reservation will be required for groups over 10. The remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file, 45 days before the date of arrival.
Group Cancellations
Group Reservations canceled before 45 days prior to the arrival date, will be honored with a 25% refund of the initial deposit. 50% of the total reservation will be nonrefundable after the 45 day window. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the date of arrival will not be refundable.
No-Show
Should a Guest(s) fail to arrive at their reservation, Nomada reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the full reservation cost.
Parking
A parking space is not guaranteed. Guests are encouraged to park in the surrounding area and follow the local street laws and codes.
Self Check-In
Nomada Hostels are a Self Check in property.
Check in hours begin at 3pm and you may check in anytime after 3pm. You may drop off your luggage for storage should you arrive prior to 3pm.
Guests are required to complete the Guest Agreement and COVID-19 Protocol documents no later than 3PM, on your date of arrival. On the day of your arrival, we will provide you with your room information and access codes via SMS text and email, upon receipt of these completed documents. Please ensure your contact information is up to date, so our messages can reach you! Our friendly staff will be on premise during regular business hours and when we?re not, you can always call us.
Late Arrival
Failure to complete documents prior to 3pm day of arrival, $25 dollar charge.
Guests who arrive between the hours of 10 PM to 8 AM are considered late arrivals and will have a fee of $25 added to their reservation. Our staff is sensitive to the needs of travelers and is willing to accommodate late arrivals on a case-by-case basis. Please notify Nomada Hostels immediately with changed travel times that will affect your time of arrival. Guests will be charged a full-day?s rate for early morning arrival time(s) as this will be considered a previous day check-in.
Self Check-Out
Check out is 11 AM.
Guests are required to leave the property no later than 11am.
Late check-out requests are up to 1:30 PM, and are subject to availability.
Late Check out fees are $15 for Dormitory Rooms and $20 for Private Rooms.
Should a Guest(s) need to check-out prior to the original reservation date, they will still be responsible for the remaining balance of the original dates booked.
Noncompliance
Should a guest(s) be asked to leave Nomada Hostels earlier than the completion of the reservation due to noncompliance with hostel rules, federal or state laws, or threats to other hostel guests and/or property will not be offered a refund of any monies already paid.
Nomada Hostels reserves the right to use the credit card on file for any property damages incurred. Guests will be notified of any property damage charges through the contact information given on the initial reservation.
Rules and Regulations
Nomada Hostels strives to create a fun and safe environment for all guests and the surrounding neighborhood. To guarantee the safety and privacy of guests, all common areas of Nomada Hostel are subject to the following rules and regulations:
Nomada Hostels is considerate of all Guests and practices quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM in all common areas.
Nomada Hostels strictly forbids the use of any illegal drugs and prohibits underage drinking. The consumption of alcoholic beverages by of-age individuals is permitted.
The use of tobacco products is only permitted in the designated areas.
Nomada Hostels reserves the right to restrict access to any guest(s) exhibiting belligerent behavior or symptoms of intoxication. Noncompliance may result in being asked to leave without refund.
Non Registered Guests
Visitors are not allowed past the lobby area. Registered guests will incur an additional fee of $40 for any outside party using the amenities and the party will be asked to leave the property.
Conduct
Sexual activity is strictly prohibited in the shared dorm rooms and or common areas. We reserve the right to immediately revoke the reservation without refund upon failure to comply.
