Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Helpful, English-speaking staff - though not all the information they had was correct. Everything worked adequately or better in the room, which was a good size and generally well-equipped. The bed must have been very comfortable - I slept really well in it.
Negative: The shower was a little small, and the water had an odd pulsing option (I was told this is standard). Although I understand the desire by hotels to have all the electrics turned off by the guest taking out the key-card when leaving the room, it's annoying that you can't leave electronic items charging up while you're out and about. The promised parking is apparently limited and needs to be pre-booked. And it's a wee way from the hotel itself. If it's full, there may be parking at or near a sister hotel a little further away. Parking on the street near the hotel.is impossible - indeed driving there is a real challenge (again, travel by train would be advisable). There is free on-street parking about 10 minutes walk away, but you need inside knowledge really.
