Summary: We had made a reservation months before. Upon check in, their credit card system was inoperable. Due to this issue on their part, we were told we could not check in, even though our stay was already paid for. They said our credit card was needed for incidentals. Which we did have on hand but their credit card system wasn’t functioning. We offered to pay with cash in case there were incidentals, but they refused to work with us, even though this was not our fault. This was total incompetence from a Hotel as big as a Hilton. For this reason I will no longer be booking with Hilton Hotels.
