Heaton Cottage is located in the grounds of the historic Heaton Lodge. The house has been renovated and is a spacious and comfortable setting for families and groups to enjoy the Mudgee area. It is located in a quiet garden setting with access to the Cudgegong river.
We have a stunning private river frontage that is available to our guests. There is a fire pit to enjoy in the winter months.
An easy 10 minute walk to Mudgee central where you can explore a wide selection of cafes, pubs and interesting shops.
The main house has 3 bedrooms, a large living room and sunroom plus kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There is an additional 2 bedrooms across a small courtyard in an adjacent building with its own bathroom. A final bedroom - bedroom 6 is located on the other side of the courtyard.
All linen is provided - breakfast is included for the first night

Summary: Julie was very easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully presented and very clean. Amenities all great and great location. We loved our family weekend. It was a very hot weekend and the bedrooms all had fans which helped.
