Summary: Everything the hotel can influence deserves the full 5 star rating. The reason 5 stars can’t be given is beyond their control: the smell. As is the case in so many locations in the area, the pervasive smell of some nearby pig feeding factory is omnipresent - even down to the spa and indoor pool in the basement. It‘s not their fault, and everything else was great, but the smell of pigsty, even if from a distance, does make the stay less pleasant than it could be. But with the NL government offering incentives for pig feeding factories to shut down, this may improve in the not too distant future.
