Positive: Spacious and more than enough room for our big group. Was nice to have a few beach accessories to bring with us to the beach, which was within walking distance (though there are not sidewalks the whole way, so driving was the better option with small kids). Plenty of basic toiletries on site, and close to a wal mart and grocery stores to pick up other necessities. The staff were responsive and nice to deal with.
Negative: The back patio area was spacious but largely empty, unkempt and overall uninviting, and so it was not used at all. The kitchen was under-equipped for cooking for a big group, which was surprising as it’s a house intended for big groups (could use more pots, pans, a baking sheet, storage containers). The house was surface clean for the most part, but could have used a deep clean and repairs to a few things (e.g., wobbly ceiling fan, door knob had fallen off, carpet coming up in one bedroom, broken patio chairs on balcony). In fairness they offered to fix these issues while we were there, but we declined to have the repair people fix it while we were out of the house (which was a lot). Overall these are small issues and easy fixes that would make a big difference to customer experience.
