It is only 150 m down to Småland's Hawaii and Furulund Resort by Lake Furen. Here you have access to boating, fishing and swimming. You have your own boat berth and can rent a boat with or without a motor from Furulund's owner.
The holiday house, which has several floors, has a balcony with a nice lake view. The house is heated via geothermal heating and electricity and WIFI is included. There are 6 bedrooms with a total of 14 beds and is fully equipped with several bathrooms and WC and a jacuzzi in one of them. In the basement there is a sauna, shower/WC. Here at Furulund, you live like in a park. It's amazing to walk around the entire facility.
At the historic bathing spot Smålands Hawaii you have nice evening sun, jetties, a boat ramp if you have your own boat and a simple barbecue area. Furen is a lake in Ljungby municipality and Värnamo municipality in Småland and is part of Lagan's main catchment area. The lake is 14.4 meters deep, has an area of 11.3 square kilometers. The furrow has rich fish fauna and is known for its large walleyes. Ifiske.se sells fishing licenses.
The nearest shop is Rydaholm but Bor also has a grocery store. In Rydaholm, you eat the dish of the day at Rydaholm's inn. Feel free to visit Småland's car and music and toy museum in Rydaholm. There are many nice golf courses nearby. Värnamo Golf Club has a very nice view of Lake Hindsen. Värnamo has the Vandalorum Art Museum with a lunch restaurant. Rusarebo meadow is a nature reserve between Bor and Värnamo that is worth a visit. You are also close to the cities of Växjö and Ljungby.
If you are interested in hiking, Store Mosse National Park and Isaberg are nearby. Here in Hestra there is an adventure park in summer and skiing in winter. The western town of High Chaparall is an excursion destination for children. It is not far to Jönköping which is a fair town with Elmia and is located by Lake Vättern. Make an excursion to Gränna and take the ferry over to Visingsö. It is also not far to the wooden town Eksjö and Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby.
