Summary: Enjoyed an unforgettable, first-class stay at Drummond Gardens! If you're looking for the ability to stay with family & friends in a very private, beautiful, resort-level property, look no further! There is a long list of exceptional attributes, including: easy access to Athens (15-20 mins); infrastructure/layout to comfortably host large gatherings (we had a party for 2 dozen UGA grads & their families); 1-mile driveway thru a forest; beautiful, large pond w/bass (rods/tackle provided), waterside gazebo, firepit & a white sand beach for kids; elegant pool w/large apron; shaded porches w/spectacular views; "main house" (w/en suites, gourmet kitchen, great room for gathering/dining, & laundry) separate from 2 en suites next to the pool- offering even greater privacy for late nighters/risers; numerous games, ping pong, corn hole; exquisite appointments (ceilings, moldings, hardwoods, blackout shutters facing morning sun); luxurious marble baths w/multiple sinks, vanity & large walk-in shower; spectacular wildlife around the vast, wooded grounds (great walks!); impeccable cleanliness; luxurious beds, bedding & towels. As w/the property, the Host, Daniel, was phenomenal: extremely responsive & accommodating, & filled w/great suggestions to maximize the use & enjoyment of the estate. He also sprinkled in some surprise touches to further enhance our stay. Highest recommendation from our party! Acid test? The grads plan to have a 10th-anniversary bash at Drummond Gardens!
