Summary: Our bedroom and balcony overlooked the lake, the harbour and the sea; the kitchen and sitting room overlooked the streets and attractive buildings. The apartment was beautifully and sensitively decorated and furnished and equipped, and was perfectly placed not only for the beauty of Greece but also for strolling around the town and finding restaurants, tavernas and cafes as well as cultural facilities such as the museum. The owner, Maria, could not have been more welcoming and friendly, and was always helpful with advice in all areas. She even provided pastries on our arrival, and fruit and more pastries during our stay. I cannot recommend Emerald Lake too highly.
