Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We stayed as a family of three and found the apartment very comfortable with plenty of space for us. Our son was able to sleep in the bed that is directly facing the living area without any problems. The location is excellent—only about 400 metres from Fukuoka Hakata Station, making it easy to get around. There are heaps of restaurants right next to the accommodation, including a great izakaya literally next door that we ended up visiting several times. Convenience stores are also just across the road, which made everything really easy. The apartment has a washing machine but no clothes dryer, which was a bit tricky during our December stay - but should not be a problem in the warmer months where there are clothes lines on the balcony through the bedroom. We ended up using a nearby laundrette—VIRTUE コインランドリー博多住吉店—about a 550‑metre walk towards Canal City, and it was excellent. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and loved the convenience of the area.

Negative: One thing to note: the unit number wasn’t provided before arrival, so it took us a little while to locate the correct apartment. We eventually found it by checking the postboxes downstairs. I’d recommend asking the host for the exact unit number ahead of time. Once we had that sorted, check‑in was straightforward.
