The apartment is situated on the top 4th/floor of the apartment block (with 2 lifts) - this provides good views and cool breezes. The complex has 24 hour reception, Wifi internet access in the communal areas and individual wifi in the apartment . There is a launderette. The apartment is comfortably furnished with a newly renovated and well equipped kitchen. The bathroom has been refurbished with a new walk in shower .There are delightful grounds to relax in and plenty of loungers around the 25m pool that has a new non slip surrounding surface. The complex is in a quiet location only 5 mins walk from supermarkets, bus routes, beaches and beach bar (with satellite sports TV), medical centre, banks, tennis courts and plenty of restaurants. Car hire is not necessary due to the excellent situation. Renters will have temporary membership of the Sunset Crest Beach Club.

Summary: We had a lovely time revisiting Barbados. Heather was a very responsive host and check in was easy. The apartment was very clean and had all the basics. It was homely. The air conditioning (1 BBD for 2 hrs) wasn’t very effective but once we found out the ceiling fan had a faster speed we slept OK and didn’t need it. A breeze blows through as it is on the top floor. There is a great short cut to the supermarket so it takes under 10 mins walk and the beach club only 15 mins walk. The pool at Golden View was always very clean.
