The Space:
Nestled on the mountain in Simon's Town, this picturesque 2-bedroom home boasts breath-taking views of the vast False Bay and bustling Simons Town harbour. The open-plan design seamlessly blends a spacious living area with a fully-equipped, modern kitchen, creating the perfect environment for intimate dinners and hearty conversations.
We will be restoring the old fireplace in the lounge in May 2025 ready for the winter season. Bookings from June 1st 2025 will have access to a fireplace.
Step out onto the patio to indulge in al fresco dining with the sea breeze lightly caressing your face, the ambience set perfectly for those delightful evenings. Imagine hosting an intimate dinner party under the stars, with the shimmering harbour lights in the distance and the gentle murmurs of the ocean creating the perfect soundtrack for your evening. Cosy up on the large couches with a glass of red in front of the newly restored fireplace: the perfect way to spend a winters day! Watch the whales frolick in the bay: Whale season starts around July.
Each bedroom is a haven of comfort, boasting luxurious beds and their own ensuite bathrooms with showers. An additional elegant bathroom, featuring a classic Victorian bath, invites you to unwind and soak away your worries.
The primary bedroom boasts a King bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds pushed together with a queen topper. Should you want the beds separate, please let us know upon booking.
Located a mere 5-minute drive from the heart of Simon's Town and 15 minutes from the trendy Kalk Bay, this home is the ideal base for your South Peninsula escapades. Give your family a precious opportunity to reconnect with loved ones over fun-filled board game nights. Dive deep into conversations, laughter, and cherished moments at this unforgettable sea-view home.
A very nice, family friendly beach, LongBeach in Simons Town is a mere 3 minute drive from the property. There is a lovely seaside Cafe servings sarmies, coffee, juice etc. What makes this beach so family friendly is that it's nestled into the bay and rarely gets waves. Grab your buckets and spades and head on down for a lovely beach day! Don't forget your sunblock!
There is a Xiaomi TV Box with access to Netflix, Youtube etc - please note you must sign in with your account to the relevant channels.
The fireplace in the entrance is not functional. The lounge fireplace is being restored in May 2025.
The property has a gas grill for use on the patio.
There are baboons that visit the area and thus windows and doors cannot be left open when unattended in the rooms. There is a great baboon monitoring team.

the area is a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by nature and as such we have to request that you please respect the neighbours. No loud music and shouting after 11pm on weekends and 9pm in the week would be greatly appreciated.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the upper level of the home with the exception of one small office that is locked for owner possessions. There is a small nook with secretary desk available for those who need to work.

Getting Around:
It is strongly recommended that you hire a car.
Uber or local driver services are strongly recommended should you go out for a couple of drinks.
Other Things to Note:
- Street parking in front of the property with a very active Neighbourhood Watch and security.
- There are baboons in the area and some of the windows are covered with baboon proof bars. Please note that you need to keep the doors and windows closed when you are not in the house or near vicinity. Baboons are sneaky and they will get in.
- the deck area from the primary bedroom will be fitted with large planter boxes and lovely plants to act as a barrier against a drop off. Caution is still advised please and no children must be left unattended in this area.
- There are stairs that have been fitted with a small safety gate: no access is allowed beyond this gate. Thanks you.
