Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The cloths washing machine was clean and didn't smell. The propane for the water heater was out but the host had it replaced within a hour. My dog stayed for free. I feel like the host has good intentions.

Negative: The pool wasn't available. The pool was one of the reasons I chose the place. The bed was hard as a rock. I actually enjoy hard beds but this was on another level. The kitchen had some stuff but I ended up buying wine glasses, a cutting board, knife, dish soap. Needles to say it didn't have anything available to keep the place clean. I found some dirty espresso cups outside that we cleaned and used. The garden hadn't been cleaned for the spring so everything was a bit unkept. The room was advertised as a 2 bedroom but I'm reality it was a living room with a bed in it and a small bed shoved in the kitchen. So no sofa to relax on. My husband ended up joining me for 7 out of the 15 days I stayed and we were charged an additional €230. I informed the host that he was coming and initially she refused to give me check in instructions unless I changed the booking online for 2 people. Which bookings can't do for just a few days. And she offered to have me cancel the booking and lose all my money 2 hours before we arrived after driving for 9 hours. So stressful! Then she decided to just charge me extra for him. Which is what bookings suggested I do. So overall I could have gotten much better accomodations with a open pool for less then the almost $900 I paid for the 15 days. The walls are paper thin. When other guests checked in next door apartment I heard them burp and fart like it was happening right next to me.
