Positive: Everything was just perfect - the cottage is equiped with everything you might need or even more. It’s surounded by the wonderful garden, full of fruit trees which you can smell everywhere ☺️ The pool is just next to it, you can jump into the cooling water or just relax looking at the Douro river view. We enjoyed it a lot! You can also get canoes to the river - it’s very safe - the water is very calm and you can use life vests which are provided. We tried it and we had a very nice experience. The cherry on the top are the owners. Although we could not meet Maria Eugenia in person, we were greatly hosted by her daughter and her husband. They were so kind, friendly and never overbearing - they made our stay even more pleasant 🥰 We could not imagine a better relax than in Casa de Gondomil ❤️ Thank you 🙏
