Negative: We had a fairly good stay overall, but unfortunately there were some important things that did not match the listing. The room itself was clean and reasonably comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, which we really appreciated, and the host was very kind and welcoming. The room wasn’t particularly special, and the bed was quite hard, but it was perfectly acceptable for a short stay. The main reason for our lower rating is the advertised sea view. We specifically chose this property because the listing highlights a sea view very prominently. There are photos showing sea views, sea view is listed as an amenity, and it is even mentioned in the first lines of the description. For us, this was the most important factor when booking. We were looking forward to having a balcony where we could sit, work, relax, and enjoy a drink while looking at the sea. Unfortunately, there is no actual sea view from the balcony. The balcony faces an inner courtyard and parking area. If you lean far out of a window on the other side of the apartment, you might catch a very VERY small glimpse of the sea in the distance, but that is not what most guests would reasonably expect from a property advertised as having a sea view. We felt somewhat misled by the listing. Another point worth mentioning is that the listing states check-out is between 9:00 and 11:00, but we were told it was very important to check out by 10:00. This was a bit confusing and did not match the information provided on Booking.com. The host was lovely, and the room was clean and functional, which is why we’re not leaving a negative review. However, the inaccurate sea view description significantly affected our experience. Overall rating: 5/10. The points are mainly for the cleanliness, the friendly host, and the fact that the accommodation itself was perfectly fine. We just wish the listing had been more accurate about the view and check-out arrangements.
